Home Inspection Reports

An inspection report is emailed to you and your agent (if you have one) later the day of the inspection.

For existing homes, I conduct a detailed phone/zoom review with you once you’ve read the report. Our review process is unique to Integra and is superior to receiving the industry’s typical brief in-person “summary” at the end of the inspection. The phone review goes into more detail where clarification is needed and offers you the opportunity to ask as many questions as you’d like so you walk away fully informed about the state of the home and what next steps to take. Reviews take as long as necessary and range from 20 minutes to an hour or more, depending upon your questions and the complexity of the report. The review spares you from taking time off work and permits discussion in a low-stress, controlled environment free from distraction. However, the standard in-person overview of the top few major defects is available instead if you’d prefer that.

For new construction homes, the builder typically corrects any deficiences noted in the inspection report and my review with you is usually brief and focuses on answering any questions you might have.

Integra’s state-of-the-art reports are written in clear, easily understood language. Lots of photos and videos are included to help illustrate defects and their locations.

Each observation in the report has the following information:

  • A description of the problem
  • Where the problem is located
  • Why it matters
  • What to do about it
  • Whom to consult about getting it fixed

For existing (non new-build) homes, guidance is provided on the suggested priorty of repairs.

A sample report is available upon request.
